Thread: Dark Manga requests

Have you tried Battle Angel Alita? That's one of the few darker ones I've read.

You can try Bloody Monday-- or a more tatseful manga series might be Rabbit Doubt, also make sure to try Melody of Oblivion

Elfen Lied was very bloody and violent. A must have for folks who want a bloodlist.

Berserk is a good bet if you like a medieval fantasy setting. As is Claymore.
Tokyo Red Hood might be a good choice in the fairy tale department.
Ichi the Killer is pretty (in)famous. Many people will probably know the film but let me tell you, apart from Tadanobu Asano it has NOTHING in the manga.
Future Diary is a manga about a supernatural survival game, a bit like Gantz.
Battle Royale is also about a survival game. Another classic which was made into a film but the manga is darker and more extreme on every level.
MPD Psycho is a more psychological manga but certainly worth checking out.
