First Manga - Nostalgic Or Dreadful?

Lots of people dislike their first mangas, simply becaus eit's different than american books and not something they're used to. What I wanna know is - did you enjoy the first manga you ever read (or atempted to) or does it stick out in your mind positively? Include the name!

Damn right I enjoyed my first Magna and still do!

Hellsing was my first (tentative

) step into Magna and it's still in my Top 3 favourites along with my Second Magna: Berserk

(Notice a sadistic trend).
I've been reading comics for quite some time and never really ventured into 'that stuff'. What I love about these 2 in particular is that both main characters are Anti-heros. Sure they save the day, but the death and devastation left afterwards, along with the fact they might kill you just for fun never happened in the Proper Batman comics. (Not this bastardised crap they now print for snotty 12 year olds who've seen the movies and cartoons

and think 'Oh, Batman is like so awesome because like, he always beats the baddies and like, is so cool about it and stuff'
Never again will Robin be beaten to death by the Joker weilding a Crobar. :sniff: Such memories...)

Umm... So yeah, First Magna is still a huge hit with me!

the manga that i enjoy the most is naruto and bleach

the very first manga that i ever read was Vampire Knight. at first i didn't understand what it was about but after i read it a second time i loved it

Well... My first manga was actually Kingdom Hearts. When i first read it. It was pretty boring. The illustration was stupid. And, the story line doesn't really match up with the story line in the game.

My first manga is still in the development process.......well, as in it's still getting translated and shipped to the US as quarterlies.

I loved my first manga it was showed to me by my sister it was Ranma 1/2 i thought it was the best thing i had ever read and that opened up the entire world of anime to me.

oh i loved mine - it was absolute boyfriend (shoujo in case you're wondering, i am the shoujo queen) anyway i loved the illustrations and the story, im actually reading it again
