![]() ![]() | Re: First Manga - Nostalgic Or Dreadful? My first manga was Flame of Recca, and I guess you could say it was more on the dreadful side. Not because I wasn't used to something un American, but because it turned out I didn't enjoy action manga. Flame of Recca served as a means of letting me know that I only loved reading Shojo. I'll leave the action titles for anime only.

![]() ![]() | Re: First Manga - Nostalgic Or Dreadful? Let's see, I was lucky with my first manga because it was Ranma 1/2. A manga that's just pretty hard to beat though I will admit that I was probably too young for it. I remember when I saw some of the indecent exposure in some of the volumes I reacted to it like I was watching a full-out porno. Lol The series that ended up getting me really into manga though would have to be Fruits Basket. I got so addicted to that series that it's not even funny.

![]() ![]() | Re: First Manga - Nostalgic Or Dreadful? My first manga was *drumroll please* Sailor Moon! ^_^ I absolutely fell in love with it! Soon after that I started reading any other manga I got my fingers on. And thus I discovered the wonderful world of manga/anime at the tender age of 11. =) |

![]() | Re: First Manga - Nostalgic Or Dreadful? My first manga (I don't know if I can even call it that) was Adam Warrens adaptation of The Dirty Pair, "A Plague of Angels" in 1994. While done by an American, I fell for the art style. So after searching a bit I discovered an entire new source of Entertainment (anime and manga) lol. My first "true" manga was Ranma 1/2. I still like both of them to this day. |
