It depends on what you mean by interesting. Gintama is a random comedy so if you are looking for a serious or continuous plot you aren't going to get one. There are some serious arcs but those are few and far in between. Gintama is all about the comedy and the jokes. I find it hilarious. It's probably only manga that really makes me laugh out loud.
