Both the manga and anime are really cute. I love Chii. Chobits was one of the first mangas I ever got my hands on. ^^;

well i haven't read it all i've read a couple of volumes but so far it is soooo good. it is a little slutty and i don't like how shallow some characters are, especially chi's guy room mate (can't remember his name it's been 2 years since i stopped reading it) he never understood that there where other girls liking him and that chi was simply a robot, she did have feelings but she could be turned on and off and the other girls couldn't.

well that's true, but i think you should have read it all the way through until you developed your opinion...

Hideki (the guy roommate) was shallow, but his character really did develop as the series went on...

and sure Chii could be turned on and off, but "real" girls can choose to turn off their affections when they want. what the manga was trying to get at is "what is love?" and "what is it to love?" they just used humans and robots as a vehicle for that...

Yeah I'm reading it too but I only have about 4-5 volumes(gotta get more of it ehehe.)And yeah I do like it and I plan to get more of it.-^-^-
