Loveless

Loveless is kind of hit or miss...

Yun Kouga is noutorious for beginning stories she hasn't planned and is unable to finish. Those she does finish are full of dangling plot threads, unnecessary supporting characters and unanswered questions. The art is lovely and some of the ideas are good ones... but I'm afraid it's already spinning it's wheels.

Not to mention it's undeniably creepy... a 6th grader and a college student in a sexually-charged relationship. Who the heck thought THAT was a good idea?

Yes that is a bit creepy...but as you said the artwork is lovely. I personally think the good outdoes the bad in the case of loveless.

lol loveless will have that affect on u. Yeah i watched the whole anime and it's pretty darn close to the book but it only goes to book 4. T.T=3
good series though, keep watching/reading it! it's one of my favs too. :D

I honestly LOVE Loveless... mainly for Soubi... but the anime/manga as a whole is very interesting and deep.

Loveless was one of my first Boys Love manga... Or perhaps softcore shotacon because Ritsuka is underage, and Soubi is... Oh well. I liked the art, and the storyline was pretty interesting. You don't see many manga or anime where normal people are naturally born with cat ears and tails... And that that they lose them when they lose their virginity. And how all the characters are connected is very interesting... Plus the art is nice. Though I've already said that.

The thing is, I'm starting to lose interest in it. loveless just seems to be, um, winding down for me. It's... not... it's losing creative steam, I guess. Like, you know what happens to any TV show or book that's past its peak? Yeah... I've started to get those feelings really badly when I started reading Volume 7. And Ritsuka seems to have 3 years off of him... I can go with a mangaka's art style evolving, but I'm not fond of Ritsuka turning into a nine-year-old all of a sudden. Aside from that, the cover of volume six was a little perturbing.

I'll still be purchasing the volumes, however. Though I don't like the fact that the English release cover was touched up... What's with the cover text?

i love the series loveless. i have the seven volumes that are out and im sooo looking foward to book eight. the story and the artwork are amazing to me. it has a very intense, mysterious and fun quality about it. once again i highly recommend this series to anyone.

Loveless is like, my number one favorite anime of all time~!^^

I just read the first chapter from volume one during my break today, and I must say that it looks very interesting. I still don't really know what's goin' on, but I may have to look in to purchasing that manga. To those who already have it: Is it gonna be worth the $10 out of my pocket? Will I be dissapointed later on in the series (or the first volume, for that matter)?

And why does a 12 year old have such massive milk bladders? I can understand early development, but GOD DAMN!!!
