Otaku | Re: Manga got you so sucked in? well for me i'm not really a bookworm... and the only reason i read manga is because i don't watch the anime version for that particular series... so manga doesn't really affect whether i feel like reading normal books or not... frankly... the only manga series i've read is Negima Master Negi Magi.. although i'm considering get backers, zero no tsukaima, spice and wolf and ichigo 100% |

The manga that drove real novels out of my life were : Love Hina, Ai Yori Aoshi,Tsubasa,Ranma 1/2 ect.Manga keeping books out of my life are: Negima!, I"s,Death Note,Naruto,Nana,Ouran HS Host Club & King Thorn. It saddens me that I can't get into a good novel right now.The last one I read was a Colombian crime drama...gah! I think I need to reread some of my old favs like Aubrey Knight series,Gaunt Ghost series & David Eddings Belgarian series.Maybe that'll weaken the hold Manga n' American comix have on my darkened soul =P

![]() Credits: 4,328 | Re: Manga got you so sucked in? To be honest, when I was little, my cousins introduced me to anime at a young age. When I saw manga, it just was a follow up from watching anime because it was inevitable that I would be into manga as well. Compared to normal books, I prefer manga mostly because of the artwork. I love how the images show weird actions and emotions that you only get from manga. With normal books, there's not many pictures and it's longer most of the time. The day manga stops being printed is the day I stop reading books. |

Oh my..I read so many books. And manga.>.> But I try to keep a balance.I have to be onest, they are both special to me even if they are different. I don't know, I guess it's about different feelings that I get after I read them.A book is always on my desk after I ger tired of manga or vice-versa. It's a circle I cannot escape from but I enjoy it.^^Well, I guess there was one manga that let me breathless and totally got me sucked in.Angel Sanctuary.
