One Piece

Well, when I went to BooksAMillion I was looking for Death Note Vols 2-3, and they only had Vol. 2 So I decided to get One Piece. (It was either that or Samurai Champloo, and I haven't seen anything of it so I just decided to go with One Piece.) I didn't really think it was going to be outstanding, but I was pretty shocked how good it was. The art was really weird but I got use to it and now I like it. Although at first I thought Luffy was going to be like Naruto (mainly the first chapter when he's a little kid, he just reminded me of him a bit) but yeah. The story-line is pretty solid IMO, And the comedy is actually good. Plus I've always liked Pirate/Samurai stuff. So anyone else read One Piece?

i have, you should watch the anime online like at veoh.com, its awesome, almost in the class of DBZ (and also, Samurai Champloo is good too so id check it out too) Luffy is not what you'd expect in the anime though, he cusses like its nobodies business, and as far as action goes, well like i said its in DBZ's League

I started watching the anime on CN like 6 weeks ago, so i'm pretty lost, lol. Are you talking about the subs where he cusses alot? I haven't noticed any cussing.

Yeah its a pretty good series. I've read up to number 8 I think. I like it.

PFFFT! One Piece is my fav Anime, like i watch it online subbed and stuff, not on CN cuz they butchered it. and i have 4 chapts of the manga, which were pretty good as well. One Piece is great, fantasitc even. I just wish ppl would look past on how its potraied on CW, it makes me sick sumtimes....

I used to hat one piece! Then i got in to the anime, and it led me to read the manga. but its not my fav but its pritty good, i like sonji the best and zolo but i suppose it pritty good, ther are a lot of mangas for it so i havent been reading them!

Well, of course!! Every anime has some flaws. Just think of it as someone making a movie adaptaion of a book. There are going to be some kinks. I hate the voices myself.

to anyone else readin, hes right, CN potrays it EXTREMELY TERRIBLE, WATCH IT ONLINE AS IT IS EXCELLENT

no one dubs it, its in Original Japanese format, meanin u have to read subs but they like cuss an theres alotta bloody violence, stuff u wouldnt expect

Ah, well I don't really care for the cussing. but cutting out action sucks. I really don't enjoy subs, japanese voices=headache, IMO.
