Too expensive - Page 2

Yes, I agree it is and for me its not a good time to waste money on something like that. But my school has manga books that I could check out and read whenever.

I used to go to the libary a lot just to read manga but I usually just check it out but I never have time to return it and then I would have to pay for it ^^;; once it was like $35 since I forgot about them.

And my aunt works at a place that has sales on manga too. Sometimes they are free but they just rip the title page out to tell you that it is. And sometimes it only cost 50 cents or so. She was nice enough to get some for me. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have any magan at all ^^;;

The manga is better than the anime, sometimes. Some manga is hard to find too!

Yes, its expensive, this is a fact of life that you cannot change. As for it being hard to find, any bookstore WILL have a section devoted to it. Any comic store in their right mind will have some for sale. Then theres always getting it online.

I've only done this once, but you could buy the manga, read it (being sure not to bend the binding), then bring it back to the shop you bought it from.

come now, manga isnt that bad. I've bought manga for 13 bucks without even complaining once. At least its helping me learn what i need to actually save from my paycheck and what im allowed to spend. It's all about how you view a valuable lesson for me. And if i have enough money to buy one or two mangas after saving about half of my paycheck then for right now i think im pretty good.

Manga is way more expensive here in canada then in the U.S and i am wondering why..? it's quite odd..i wish to buy a shonen jump book for roughly 10 bucks, when in america they only have to pay about 7 dollars...

I won't lie. Manga is very expensive. However it is worth it if you enjoy all the details instead of a glossed over story line.

Yhea i am dirt poor and borrow lots of managa form friends that like it to and that is if they got some new one that i dont have its a win win thing i borrow and return so it dont get destroyed at my house borrow from someone.

The canadian dollar is worth less than the American dollar...

This is an incredibly basic concept.

what?? you think a 10$ manga is expencive?? well i buy them like 23 or 25 euros it's more than 10$ belive me!! LOL
if you'd do a part-time job these 10$ will be nothing
