Characters to love and hate (hope you don't hate any one of them). Extensive story line as a character does what he loves and have other characters get involved in his creativity.
It's a tear~jerker here and there.

If I had to pick just one, I would have to say One Piece would be my favorite. It pretty much never fails to entertain me.
My all time favorite manga is Hot Gimmick, by Miki Aihara. Words simply lack the power to describe how utterly awesome this manga is. To define it as a shojo (which everyone knows is the polite way of saying "girly") is to do it a disservice. What is it that makes this manga so appealing? Everything. The artwork, storyline, drama, tension, sexual frustration, social mores; it's all there and then some. I'm not one to go spoiler happy though, so I'm not going to get into detail, but I strongly suggest checking it out. It's...just so win. Bear in mind, it's soap opera-like, and pretty girly by most standards. If you are a fan of manga such as those, then yeah, Hot Gimmick is a must read.
