Thread: Where can I find affordable manga?

It really depends on the distributor. Manga by tokyopop are usually $10 US if I remember correctly. Whereas Del Rey's are a little more expensive.

You can go to conventions to buy manga. If there is one near your area. You can haggle, tax free and if you buy in bulks, you can usually get a good deal from the dealers.

even though eBay is cheaper, you can't make sure is what you want, they have allot of tricks in eBay.

Also keep in mind the exchange rate Its a killer, although, the Canadian Dollar is still going strong.

Bookstore and da Naruto manga is $8.99 most manga is $10.00

Walmart has pretty cheap manga book titles. If not try Barns and Nobles.

Usually online stores have a good deal if you buy a series as a set. But it also depends if you're looking for the original Japanese ver. or etc. Translated ones tend to cost more even putting in account the exchange rate.

example: A copy of FMA in Japan is about 500~600yen, with the exchange rate (I'm unaware of what it is now...) it should still come to like $7~8.

...but prices vary place to place so.
