Hey, I'm kind of a noob in the anime world, and I'm wondering, where would I get manga? Would they have it at a local book store or do I need to go to a special store? Thanks.

Regardless of where you are, there will always be some bookstores that stock up on translated comics. If you want original manga, that is, manga that is not translated, you'll have to look for a Japanese bookstore like Kinokuniya. Some anime stores do sell manga as well. It would help if you told us where you're from.![]()
Okay I'm from Colorado, USA. I think that one book store around me has manga, I'm not sure, I'm going to check. And since I can't speak japanese, I think translated would be preferable.
I buy manga mostly from Suncoast, but i just recently found out that wallmart also sells manga books much more cheaper than other bookstores.
Really? I'll have to check my local wal mart then, thank you so much.
Don't you have a Border or Barnes&Nobles? Try your local comic store. You can also buy manga at conventions.
I do have a Barns&Nobles and a Borders, you mean they carry it? I'm gonna look there, thanks.
