I think you read too many manga of the same genre. There's plenty of different stuff out there. Limiting yourself to the big mainstream shounen stuff alone (Naruto, Inu Yasha, Bleach, Dragonball, etc.) will result in a skewed view of manga in general.

I agree. And it's also likely that the author simply ran out of original ideas, so he just had to rehash some old ones.

You say this after watching generic mainstream shonen anime? You sir, need to pay more attention. The anime counterparts of most of those shows are even worse about that, and drag on a hell of a lot longer!

There are tons of different manga out there to read. you just need to find the right kind. Sometimes the plot twsits and such are done a little too much....but that is stuff you see in the mainstream stuff like Naruto, Bleach, and others.
Try picking up a manga that normally would not appeal to you. Sit down and read it, and I bet manga will have a nice fresh feel again.
