Thread: Your first Manga

i was very happy that mangas came into my bookstore, but i first bought chobits, manga on computer screen is that one that i don't wanna count... so first "real" manga in my hands that i have read was chobits

mmm my first manga was...slamdunk oddly enough. it was my brothers and i didnt understand what the manga was about. I never like serious buy and collected manga, just borrowed from friends but now i do want to have my own manga collection. when it's big enough i'll post a pic of it on AO!

my first manga was random walk, its nice but it was discont, i think, does any1 know this?

mine was rave master in chinese wen i founded in my cuzin's old stash of games and anime stuff wen i saw the manga i started looking at it which i didn't under stand then i asked him which started my anime and manga road

The first manga i have ever read was Rurouni Kenshin ... <3 ^^
@.@ -Oro? lol... I read RK on my birthday, it was a birthday present from a friend of whom i love very much, lol.. And the reason why? Well, because i LOVE RK!!!! (as u can see)

The public library in my town was having a book sale and I could not find any books to buy whatsoever. Then, my friend handed me a few books and I was shocked! I just looked at her and looked down and I said "Manga for $1!!??" I was so excited I went throught the library and found all 10 manga books they had for sale. The first one I read out of those was X/1999, it was a little confusing at first but I got used to it. Now Im into the series Sensual Phrase

My first manga was Demon Diary. I had been watching anime (Tenchi Muyo, Cowboy Bebop, etc.) my whole life but wasn't aware until last year that they had a book form, silly me! I checked out the first volume of Demon Diary in order to see what it was like and I fell in love with reading manga, I read the whole series (I think it is 7 volumes long) and ended up crying because I didn't want it to end! I remember my freinds hugging me and saying it's ok, stop crying. I really get emotional when I read a good manga book!!!! The reason I checked it out was that there were no other manga books at the library, it must have been fate!!!!
