Mine was Bleach about a year ago, because my sister had brought them with her over the summer a while back. She wanted me to read them because she thought I'd like it. So far they're okay... I'm still reading them so i can't say much more...^_^ But as for it being my first, I apparently liked it because i almost read manga more than I watch anime.

Mine was Inyusha. It held a special place b\c I won the manga at a competion in my library for reading the most. Since it was my first and some people got picked on in my school b\c they read them I wasn't so sure they were any good. But it turned out they were awsome and I really liked them. I got to say if your want a good manga to start off with or just want to read something good you should try this out.

My first manga was Hellsing ..
* why you chose it?
i didn't .. it was my first glare into the anime world and by accident at that time i was just looking in the internet for something else ...

* what you thought of it?
i was pretty amazed by it .. and by its characters ...

* would you recommend it?
i would recommend it .. it's a good thing to read and "watch" ...

* does it hold a special place for you as it was your first manga?
it had ,but now Airgear which i read second took the place ...

* good / bad parts of your first manga?
Hellsing manga was filled with good parts but again i found some that i didn't like .. like the part of "i'm your gun" and stuff ...

my first manga was crimson hero which comes from the shojo beat magazines....my firend introduced me to the magazine and the first chapter i read was the crimson here one and pretty much fell in love with it. i mean its cute and its funy and the characters are great...and i can relate to it cuz i love volleyball its my second favorite sport (soccer is my first) and i love playing...wut i really like about crimson hero is that it not only just foucuses on volleyball it really revolves around school and friends and relationship problems but it kinda in the end all comes back to volleyball andthats the best part.......i definatley recomment it to anyone mostly girls tho cuz it is a shojo manga

I think that my first Manga was something like my username it was "Fallen... Spiral I think; ha-ha!" ... the reason I got it was because it was the first thing that I could wrap my hands around... since then I've been watching and researching anime for as long as I can remember...

Ummm I think it was Rurouni Kenshin a year or so ago. my friend Paul was talking about it, and it sounded interesting so i picked up a few and couldn't put 'em down

My first manga, well it was actually Ani-manga. But anyways, my first ever manga was Inuyasha, which I realy loved! I started watching ths show then, I thought "Ive never seen the first episode", so I bought the actual manga. But a few pages were riped out, so I returned it and bought the ani-manga.

Ruroni is a very long series from what I can tell. For some manga you got to be willing to spend a few bucks. MONEY!!!

Okay, I'm going to try this again and say my first manga was ToHeart

I actually found it on accident! I was looking through a few choice
books and suddenly found it, then I bought it, read it, and loved it.
* What you thought of it?
I thought it was very touching and had alot of that love drama in it,
which made it have alot of emotion to it, and it was so awsome!
* Would you recommend it?
Absolutely! I'd recomend it to absolutely anyone
at all who loves the action/love drama manga!
* Does it hold a special place for you as it was your first manga?
Yes, it does. I always read it every day and
I was glad I found it, or else I'd never known about anime/manga!
* Good / bad parts of your first manga?
Well, mostly everything was good about it. Not many things bad about it, except the one little thing about girls
being a little too emotional, but besides that, everything was good about it!

My first Manga was Dragonball... =) Loved it from the start (when goku was just a kid) ^^ Lost my way after Dragonball Z ended and gt began. Tho i felt i could leave it at that, i still get the urge to see it, although i got so many other gr8 animes to watch so i dont got time

. Still Dragonball will always be my nr 1. ^^
