Thread: Your first Manga

My first manga was Wish. I read it at the end of 6th grade. Why? It just looked cool. Since the style was new to me, it took me forever to read. Obviously I had never read manga before, so reading backwards confused me. Wish was really good. Sometimes I go back and read bits and pieces of it when I'm feeling nostalgic.
After Wish came Ceres.

My first manga was Cardcaptor Sakura. It wasn't even volume one. It was volume six. XD! I'm not sure why I picked...six. ^^; It's a good thing I've seen a good part of the series before I read it. XD;; Then I think I got Sailor Moon next, and a whole collection just growed.

The first manga I started to read would probably be Dragonball. I was into the show and everyone said it was better so I did. Now the rest is history, I read it all. Well, the ones that sound good to me.

My first manga was Juvenile Orion, it wasn't very long, about five books, and it was a great introduction into the world of Manga for me. Well, it was geared toward both males and females, since it had the main couple as romance, and a few branching off, though I was a bit confused when I read it the first time, because it made vague references to other mangas I had not read. I liked however, because it had a demon king, a mindbreaker, a mage, an angel, and a cleric/priest, a warrior. (These are just generalizations.)

I would recommend to those who like Blood +, Hellsing, or Trinity Blood, because it has some of those elements. Since it was my first it does hold some value for me, infact I have a fairly new set of the series now, in respect of it.

The good parts was it introduce me to several factors that are normally key in any manga, especially those geared toward females, however I had read this series to early to get the full grasp of the manga itself, I was too young and to narrow minded.

Mine was D.N.Angel

It was a righteous manga.
After that I got Negima, another sweet one.

mine would be naruto even though i barely like it anymore. But from like 2 years past I am nearly obsessed with Manga and I love:
Bleach
Fullmetal alchemist
Case Closed
HunterXhunter
Yu Yu Hakusho
And so many more...
so if you're not reading manga probably all the people hear would strongly recommend it to you and I cant even get my eyes off it right now I am reading Orphen

my first manga was yu yu hakusho, but i had watched plenty of anime before that. I got the first volume from my 7th grade teacher at the end of the year because sombody kept leaving it in her room and never came to get it. im in 10th grade now.
