Forms of Writing

I originally wanted to branch out into other forms of writing. Is this still a good idea? I know many of the members have trouble writing on the spot for the poetry.

But, if I were to incorporate essays, research papers, book reports, author bios, etc. into our clan... Would many of you take the time and iniative to do them?

I know many of you are in school and want nothing to do with MORE work. So, if I were to assign any of things previously listed the final copy of it wouldnt be due until a month.

Truth be told, I'm sick to death of poetry. Lol. I want something fresh and new in the clan. Hell, we can even read a book together and then write/talk about it. Have book discussions about the rhetorical (literary) devices used in it. Hmm, I really like the book idea. I may just do it.

So, come on guys gimme some ideas or yes/no.

I already am part of some kind of writing circle, even if I'm new to that group. I have alreayd 3 books to read for fun, 2 for school and orals to finish till the end of this session. I think afterwards I'll be more capable of reading, but now I am nearly overwhelmed. Though if I had time I would be 100% willing to participate......snif.

^o^ book clubs are always a great idea for me! however, i would suggest short stories to start out with, or perhaps poetry (Silver Spoon Anthology by E.E. Cummings might be good for that)

the reports don't sound so fun though... but, it all depends on the subject that to be written on...

^_^ i would put forward that we have oppportunities to write short stories with a similar theme or character or nothing similar at all...

^.^ or maybe we could all right something... like someone posts a chapter/stanza, and then the next person would continue that into the next chapter/stanza...

but i'm just spit-ballin here...

Well this clan is almost evrything liteture so why not make some practices of stories or ame a small story to see ur skills in writting.

I think the book thing is a good idea. I like to here what other people think about books I've read.

Short stories would be the best I can do right now. I'd say 2-3 pages long maximum. Reading is out of the question though, plenty to do as I wrote above.

The book thingy is a good idea.

Also in relation to anime, we can make fanfics right?
with our favorite characters as the leading characters and etc.
It will challenge each any everyone of us .

Making new things widens our horizon in literature.
