    Did Angelica Die?

    at the end of the gunslinger girl anime, did Angelica die or just fall asleep? this could be a stupid question, but i didnt quite get it. i seems to me it could have went either way.

    Yes, she did die... It was already mentioned earlier in the series that one of the side-effects of implanting the cyborg implants was the greatly reduced lifespan of the subjects...

    okay then.... but i didnt figure that that meant that someone died from it. besides i thought it was more likely that she died from the firefight earlier
