Which ending of Chobits did you like better?

i was wondering if you all liked the manga ending better, or the one in tha anime!

personally, i thought the manga one was better cuz it showed more devotion and understanding on both sides of the party. i also liked that Hideki was more decisive of his feelings for Chi. The anime, on the other hand, felt too much like CLAMP wanted to pull them apart but just couldn't becuz it would be too sad. Also, it felt a little too emo for my taste, and i didn't like how neither Chi or Hideki truly understood each other... it was only until after she went to a robotic state that Hideki really fought to get through to her...

but then again, that's my opinion...

Totally agree with you. I think the ending of the manga is better because the CLAMP team allows a true ending. In anime serie, you think it's possible a second season, all the incidents between Chii, Hideki, Dita and the other (i don't remember the name) ends well, and then they continues their lives with normallity. But it's all, the story can continue with a lot of new adventures, the totally new feelings of Chii. This situation don't happend on the manga. The feeling of the ending is diferent.

For me, this is my opinion.

i like the anime ending better as there can be more emotion in the anime series than manga book and i do like manga books
