'Fate/Hollow Ataraxia' actually refers to the Type-Moon Ero/Hentai PC interactive novel thats the sequel to the original 'Fate/Stay Night' Ero/Hentai PC interactive novel, (which is what the Manga and Anime series is based on.)Quote:

It really surprised me about the history that went into it. It was both of their decsions to destroy the grail. So Shiro could make sure there wasn't a repeat of the grail wars and Saber decided to live with herself as king. At the end they discussed that the grail was a weapon so they decided that it would be destroyed.
I think it ended the way it was supposed to. History is back to normal and life is back to normal. They can't screw up history!!
