i am in to anime also. i got into anime when i was two years. my first show was inuyasha

fav. anime ending would have to be wolf's rain...
well because they all died at the end which was one of theose bittersweet
ending that make you cry but then they all came back to a world they
all wanted a world that they can all live together in peace^^

spiral...
most pepole hated the way it ended because the left to may unanswered
questions but thats why i love it. it gives you something to think about when your bored.

YuYu hakusho...
yusuke came back to keiko in the end after being gone so long it was one of those awww kind of endings^^

yea i liked the ending of bleach 166 when ichgos mask almost breaks off but he still has the will to fight its awesome

My favourite one would have to be the ending from Basilisk...

"In the end, only Genosuke from the Kouga and Oboro from the Iga remained, and they were still both blind. Rather then kill Genosuke, Oboro killed herself, overwhelmed by her feelings for her lover. Genosuke saddened with this marked Oboro as the sole survivor, and killed himself, where he floated with her down the river, like their grandparents...''

it was such a sad ending i almost cried..

I think my 3 favorite endings were:
1. Shining Force 1 for the Genesis: you think the hero dies as the castle sinks, but if you watch all of the credits, you see a cape heading away, without the princess or anyone else in toe.
2. Gundam: The Movie: Amuro finally realizes what it fully means to be a New Type
3. Kimera: even though it's kind of creepy, the lady gets away with the help of one of the people who are supposed to be trying to kill her (he falls head over heels for her as I recall)

Yup that was great (it's not anime though) but stylized as that so yes ... and ending up farming somehow somewhere where nobody can know him as one of their greatest heroes ... it was really good

and the same goes for Valis anime-stylized games series for genesis .. the ending was great too .. but the greatest to me (also from that time i'm speaking) got to be of Ynarothx's it was one of the greatest sad and happy endings to me ...

Well. Good night. A long long time ago ins't it? Well, i talk in this time about Sky Girls.

The ending can divide in two parts: the chapter 25 is the "real" ending and chapter 26 is more like an epilogue. In the chap 25 the girls defeat the WORMS and help the main character, Sakurano Otoha, to defeat hers brother, a worm copy of the real brother. After an absurd battle, very predictible, all the things have solution and all people ends happy. I think the story have more to tell.

On the chapter 26, presents all the characters one year later of the last fight. And when you are staying for some action between the couples on the story (Otoha and Ryohei, Karen and the-kitchen-and-communicator-boy) don't happend anything and the epilogue feels, ammm, slow.

But, what make me think this ending is one of my favorites? Well, is hard to say. I like it, and i hope for a second season waiting for enjoy all the new team. On the ending put the "final point" on the story but also put the famous "second season cooming soon".

And yet it would keep you at you're toes untill it finally happened.

For Death Note click to show spoiler I loved watching Light lose it when he'd been cornered. It was so out of character for how cool he'd acted all through the series. It was a plus that it was Ryuk who'd carried out his promise that it would be him that wrote Light's name in the Death Note. For ROD the TV Series click to show spoiler I loved that Junior was reunited with his mother, Nancy and the paper sisters decided to remain together even after gaining the knowledge that their partnership had been orchaestrated and many of their memories implanted.
