I don't think Dirge of Cerberus was all that great. Nice graphics, nice character design (though bearing resemblances to KH characters) and awesome music, but uh, well, it just wasn't rich enough for me. I hope Square isn't planning to make anymore FFVII-based stuff, because I've just about had it up to here with FFVII. +__+;;

So I say Final Fantasy VII is highly overrated. Even if you made FFVII with kick-a$$ graphics it probably wouldn't compare to FFX or FFXII. Then again, that's probably because FFVII is old. Some of the newer games have better storylines. *shrugs* I didn't enjoy playing FFVII that much. As for the movie, uh, I watched it because.... I dunno, I like FF and it's only natural for me to watch it?? If Square were to produce a second FFVII movie, or a 10-hour thingy like I suggested, I'd probably watch it as well, for fandom's sake, and the graphics would probably blow me away... but at the end of it all, I'll go, "Dang. Why FFVII again!?"

ah I got it when it first came out.

FF7 is the bomb. none of teh other games had an enemy that came near to the sheer EVIL of sephiroth. in fact, i've don't even think that someone like that EXISTS! advent children kicked ass, and no other game has the cool characters to go with the awesome as hell bad guy. sure, if another "nonFF7" movie can out i would watch. but in the end i would go WTF WERE THEY THINKIN NOT DOIN ANOTHER FF7!
