Thread: Gunslinger Girl ending

Its definetly interesting. I kinda wish there was more to it though. Oh well, its cute that she fell inlove with her trainer (I forget the names)

They definitely leave it open for a sequel. The story should go on until that generation of girls die.

When I got to the end of Gunslinger Girl, I wasn't sure if I liked or disliked it. On one hand, I did expect a series about assassins to have a bit more of a dramatic, bloody ending. But there was definitely something poignant about seeing the girls not as killing machines but as happy, innocent children.

Aside from the ending, I was a little disappointed that the series didn't go into more detail about the girls' "conditioning". Other than the fact that it shortened the girl's lifespan, I don't recall any specifics about the process.

I liked the seires but I agree it dose leave room for more to the show. I think movies and other stuff will be coming out for it.

I'm not so sure that there will be more to this series in the U.S.

ADV already cut the manga, and Gunslinger's sales have been kinda average from what I've seen. I'd like to see the games make it over, but I'm sure they never will.

I think the ending is very well done.
Coupling death with endings is usually a good think and this death was very well done.
A nice conclusion to an anime about the feelings of these child robo killers.

Well I wouldn't assume that she died. There isn't enough info to infer that. I hope she didn't. there are a few things saying she did like her returning memory. But I hope that that was just a sign for something good actually happening
