Thread: Happy endings or sad endings?

I like happy ending more than sad endings, as sad ending always leave me with tears, but happy endings make me feel happy for the characters and even the author. Comedy anime should never have a sad ending as it dosn't make sense, but if an anime with very sad story lines, then a happy ending may make the anime better. But no matter what, we can never force the author to write an ending we like, so let's just enjoy the show and thank the author for giving us a great time watching/reading the anime/manga.

You can't always have a happy ending. A sad ending is necessary at times. Life isn't always where things always work out for the best. There are many sad things in life that can't be ignored. In fact life is more dissatisfying than anything else. I prefer a sad ending over a happy one any day.

I truly prefer a sad yet happy in a way ending. I like it when a problem is resolved but another seems to be looming...

a sad ending is the better ending^^ just because the sad ending as a large impact on the viewers and a happy ending not as big. and sometimes the sadder the ending the better it makes the anime in general^_^
