How many volumes are there in Chrono Crusade?

I was wondering about this.. I have read up to 6 and now I am on volume 7.. I hear that chrono and the girl, Rosette die.. is that true?? At least in the anime.. I think..

8 vol. and yes, also spoilers. The end of the manga is a bit different than the anime. The death of Chrno in the manga is questionable.

Yes Rose dies. The death of Chrno is debatable since in the manga; the author made Chrno's "death" more like disappearance. We don't see him actually being killed.
