Mecha/Sci-fi, its Evangelion (Can't really name anything else, As I only really watch Scifi and Romantic Comedy)
For Romantic Comedy, its Love Hina. The comedy, while over the top at some points, is just so damn entertaining, and you just start to care for the characters, which is a sign of a good written story.
Hmm. could it be Keitaro's step sister Urashima Kanako.

Maybe, Kanako appears on the Love Hina Again OVA's and on the final manga books. Keitarou stay together with Naru, but i don't be agreed with that. I like another couple, like Keitarou-Mutsumi or Keitarou-Shinobu. Naru don't like me, but, what can i do? The final is written and can't change.
