I have to say the shocking ending of Cowboy Bebop. When you really become attached to a character and he dies, you feel torn on he inside, even if it isn't real........Bang.

I'm still hoping that he didn't die and they continue the series. For me although not technically ending
I was sad when Hughes died in FMA he was so funny with his daughters pictures and all.
Also when Saya dies in Black Cat, kept hoping maybe she'd show up at the end
since they never found her body but when she didn't, it was Aerith all over again.

I gotta say Eureka 7 bcuzz I loved that show so when the end came and they fused it made me sad to see a series end so young

Well, the whole Cowboy Bebop series is definitely over, it's been over for a while.

My saddest ending would have to be Green Green's last episode when Midori left and after that in the morning they looked at the picture of Yuusuke and Midori and they didn't know how this girl was.

It wasn't the ending, but lords was it sad. I wanted to cry when Kaoru supposedly died in the final arc of Rurouni Kenshin (which, by the way, is the greatest manga of all time). Poor Kenshinnnnnnnn blamed himself and if he were real I would've held onto him forever. The pain...! Then of course Kaoru wasn't dead, thus the happily ever after. =]]
