fooligar gets my vote. The entry is very well constructed. The usage of render, choice of colors and effects, and the smooth animation of the rotating ball is simply amazing. Great job.
...oh, and welcome to AO and SOTW.
Kazaf's entry was my second choice. Also did a fine job on the usage of the render and effects. Wasnt too sure about the color choice but its great nonetheless.

i have to second Fooligar's awesome sig! what i liked most is that the "funness" of sports was portrayed very well in the sig! and the moving basketball really put it over the top! great job!
^_^ i also thought Equinn's was cute too! but maybe not divide the sig like that? that way there's more space for the cuteness!
fooliger has this locked. His sig is in an entirely different league. It's relevant to the theme, to the series in question, it's sharp, it's creative, it's well executed.
Probably the best I've ever seen in this competition, period.
rather than most, it also has more of the sports concept showing than a major graphic twist.
Shinku's was good also,
others not much sport themed as it is just sport characters

Fooligar got my vote, but Kazaf almost got it because of the "Over 9000" reference.
Hum i guess the general consensus is that fooligar should win. I do too though. The spinning bball adds a nice touch and the background is well done. Fooligars over9000! haha. Glad someone got my reference (or atleast cared to mention it ^^)
I also liked Shinku's entry. Really like the work done on the sky and the whole light reflecting off the visor. Nicely done.
