Thread: Voting: SOTW Oct 8-14 (Fall - Autumn)

For me, the finalists were equinn, Kazaf and Candid. I ulitimately chose equinn for the clarity. I really liked Candid's reflective text, but the image behind the text was a bit unclear. Kazaf's was also very very nice. Lovely orange colours used for Autumn.

After debating with myself as to who gets my vote I finally went with Candid's. A VERY close call this time. It was a real close choice between Candid, Kazaf, fooligar, GallComp, and Brent-Enix. fooligar's sig was REALLY close to getting my vote but Candid's unique style got me this time. But I must note that fooligar did an AMAZING job (but I guess that goes without saying eh?)

Creds to Abu, iluvmyloser, Alucard_ML, and equinn as well for the solid entries. As for Spin Da Ish I wish that yours depicted the theme more clearly and for DEMON SPAWN I wanted to see more work done..

But great job for everyone that entered nonetheless.

i voted for abu-dhabi because of the way he blends the colors we associate with fall (brown, dying colors, dark yet not too dark) and i love how the image falls into place with the background color. nice work abu

the decision was super hard! Fooligar's and Candid's were top quality entries! Candid's was so cute and shy and well built together! and i loved how the colors in Fooligar's sig were put together so beautifully!

^_^ but in the end i had to vote for Shinku no Kage, from the first moment i saw it i thought, "OMG! that's perfect!" not just cuz it's Lucky Star, but that it really captures what fall feels like to me... and that's reading manga cuz you don't want to work on that new pile of homework!

fooligar & Kazaf had the best two sigs IMO, very hard to decided for me...

fooligar had some awesome blending with making the character almost part of the tree, though I would have loved to see more of the leaves in yellows, reds and oranges.

Kazaf really captured an autumn feel with the sky but the tree and hill seemed a little underdone.

Very hard choice but all in all, I had to give it to fooligar

Fooligar's sig was not only well done, but I liked what he(or she) did with the text. First place for you, well, to me at least. Nice job.

Same goes for everyone else, very nice entries from all.
