That is true. It could be the genres of music that we DJs play. I usually get 1 or 2 listeners on a.... 4 hours basis. -_-

perhaps a more aggressive wave of advertising would help?

It's pretty logical that people would rather listen to what they like than the AO radio.


Also, could we have a way to display the DJ of the moment somewhere near the "now playing" bar?

That's true but if people are more than willing to support other facets of AO, than how hard is it really to support this and the people who are contributing to this?

And if what you say is true, it also just goes to show how close minded the community is to new genres.

Which is why I play nearly everything. As of right now? I' having a rap, hiphop, and r&b hour. I have a few more hour events planned as well, all with different genres.

@Hassun: I agree, I hope we can do that. I know that back when we were doing this over at AR, people can make the thing that goes across the winamp say whatever the broadcaster wants it to say. (i.e.: Pyoro's radio - *song name*)

@Skillzpay: good point, but that's how many people are.
