Don’t be turned off by the fact that this is just the first volume of four; none of them are even close to expensive. This is a great mecha/comedy with plenty of tense dramatic moments. The animation is somewhat old school, but the voice acting is great (especially Gawl), and the story keeps up a quick pace. This volume might leave you a little bit confused, but you’ll definitely want to see it through to the end.

Come on now, this DVD (the whole series, in fact) is one of the cheapest you'll find from an independent seller on Amazon. I got each disc for under $5. Hell, the shipping costs more than some sellers are charging per disc.
