Name That Anime!

In this game, you basically do as the title says, name the anime that the person above you describes. If you get the anime right, then you get to name the next anime, easy enough? yaay!

I'll start with an easy one just so we can get into the flow of this.

I am in a land of normal humans, yet also not.
I am in the past, and also in the future.
I mainly consist of 3 humans, a half-breed and a demon.
I take place in Japan.

M'kay, so this is a simple one, so start guessing!!!

Ummm.....lets make this a bit harder....and from here out the next person can't post a new question until it has been confirmed that they have answered correctly.

I take place in outer space
I have many characters but 4 main ones.
2 Female, One is a cat girl and one is an android (with a mysterious past), the other two are male characters.

I will give another hint if this one is takes too long

Edit.....I guess I made it too hard, lol....

Licensed by Sunrise and it aired on Cartoon Network....There is an assassin and a gay merchant who has a crush on the main male lead character. The android was found inside a suit case.....

ARE YYOU ABSOLUTLY SURE IT WAS LICENSED BY SUNRISE????? because I found out every single trademark anime licensed by sunrise and showed up on cartoon network DOESN'T match that description the only one that is even close is BIG-O help me out here ONE MORE HINT ONE!!!!!

*hesitates* it sounds strangely familiar... is it outlaw star? i remember watching a few episodes of that ages ago, and i can't even remember the characters' names and such, but that's about the only anime i can think of. hope i'm right!

Actually I didn't write that right, Sunrise is a Japanese Production studio and it was produced by Sunrise, it was licenced by Bandai Entertainment. I apologize if that was misleading.
