Oh I love Pokemon, but I'm not into the new ones. I like to keep it old school where Pokemon aren't just ripoffs of actual animals. Girafarig? Give me a break.

@Shinks: I wouldn't say the Pokemon US dub sucks, but it definitely doesn't have the same feel as the Japanese dub. ...US dub made it feel more cartoony, and much more pleasing to see on a Saturday morning. While the Japanese version felt like you watched it on the weekdays. ...in my opinion, at least. The new series' dubbing got awful though. Sure, many kept their voices, but key voices just up and left without warning - forever hurting our ears with the new voices. But yeah, a megaton of US dubs are awful. Mostly in the new ones. ...ESPECIALLY IN THE NEW ONES. X_X @Sazuka: Well, technically speaking, all Pokemon are ripoffs of actual animals. But I do agree that they started looking more and more like actual animals. BTW, Abu finds Girafarig ADORABLE. ...the reason why they're starting to look more like animals is because they're not giving them extra body details and not changing the color of the skin. I mean, Squirtle's the best example... if you turned his skin brownish-green and removed his squirrel tail, he'd totally be less appealing. @Legend: ZOMG! After class tomorrow, Abu and I will give our friend codes! You wait and see how awful my luck is! I'll be MURDERED!

@Sazuka: Yeah, as Soshi says, Almost all pokemon are rip offs of actual animals. If anything the newer ones have some based off of THINGs, not animals. @Legend: Give us your friend code ASAP!!! Oh, but do you need time to unlock some karts+bikes first or would you rather have the rest of us stick to the standard karts+bikes? ....anyways, friend code, ASAP.

The ghost ones weren't a ripoff of animals...anyways that Girafarig thing looks lot like the animal/bus in Totoro. @All: I haven't opened the game yet, but I'll post the friend code up by tonight if I can.
