  1. Yeah I visited a friend who went and he showed me the lanyard for the badge. Never knew Fanime was all funded by fans and your only sponsor was Nvidia...So do you get pay for being part of logistics or get compensated in any way??

Speaking of EVA, I'm looking forward to picking it up too, and Aceman has been touting how good it is especially in HD. I did manage to catch a glimpse of it last weekend at an anime store, and it did seem like they improve the audio and visual....Was Nie Under 7 even that good?? I remember it in middle school, it was about an alien living with a poor lady right??
  2. Grumble Grumble Grumble

Hmmm, so this is how these Visitor Messages work...

Fanime was very very busy, (with an informal attendance count of over 13,000) Tear down was a pain, a logistics is always the last group working on the site. I didn't get to leave until 10:00pm Monday evening...

I saw the One Piece Movie #7 (Its always fun to watch Luffy's finishing move for the movie), and got to see most of Evangelion: Rebirth #1, (but they started the movie earlier then the official scheduled start, so I missed the beginning). The new EVA movie is a worthy remake, but really doesn't cover much more then what is covered in the TV series. They added an additional Angel, (so #5 of the TV series is counted as #6 in the movie series)...

I didn't get a chance to collect any new fansub series (drat!) And all the new release I've already pre-ordered on Internet Sites. But I did manage to buy a 'Nie under 7' collection, which is long out of print (and the only Abe series I don't have in my collection), and I got the poster I was looking for ('Lucky Star) from the Bandai Entertainment booth, which I shall add to my cubical at work (joining the Haruhi poster), once the current crunch time is over...
  3. Hey Len, how was Fanime?
