you have to be a com.member to use avatars of your own
you can go in on user CP and then on "edit avatar" on the left side... Then you choose "option 2" adn press that button, so can you take a picture from your pc... i don't really know if i write right, becuse i don't use one of my own pictures... but i hope it works^^
You have to become a Community Member and have a 100 posts and a certain amount of days ^^ you can find it in the Rules/FAQ at the top of the page good luck and if there's anything else, feel free to ask anytime
You have to have 250 posts and be here for a month. Then you can upload your very own avatar.

the forums, it's just to go in on "forums" adn find the forum that you wants to write in... After everyones entryies it's u window you can write in, writer there and then click on the button "Post Quick Replay"... after the side has reload you entry are at the last side. of the forum...
if you will send a message like an email... you have to go in to the "contact info" of the perso you want to send to... so can you find "send private message" (or something like that)... if you need more helt, just ask ^^
