Yasunori Ide Please Teacher! (Onegai Teacher)

Plot

The story revolves around a high school kid named Kei Kusanagi and his new teacher Mizuho Kazami. Kei turns out to have an unknown disease that causes his heart to go into a standstill and he winds up in a comatose state. Mizuho turns out to be a half alien and half human from outer space. It winds up that Kei and Mizuho have to get married in order for her to keep her job, and the story takes off between the two falling in love and going through the trials of marriage. The story also involves Kei's friends and how Kei and Mizuho must hide their marriage from them.

Audio and Visuals

This series looks beautiful and the characters are also well donel. There were plenty of moments that amazed me and there were plenty of well drawn scenes in the anime.

The audio was good at best in my opinion. I didn't really find the soundtrack amazing and the only one I really liked was the opening to the anime.

Mood

Well, the anime is mostly a cross between a comedy and romance. It mainly revolves around the love story of Kei and Mizuho, but also dives into the relationships between his friends. There is plenty of drama thrown in as well involving the complicated marriage between the two.

I found it hilarious how they were trying to hide their marriage the whole time from his friends, along with the awkward moments that came with the marriage.

Final Thoughts

I loved this series. I found that they mixed comedy and romance pretty well and the visuals were really good. The ending to be good, which doesn’t happen often in my experience.

It is kind of short with only 12 episodes, but if you like a good comedy and romance, then you will definitely like this series.

I bought this anime series as a collection, which included 4 DVD's of the entire series, plus the OVA. All for around $40, so it is pretty affordable.
