If you're looking for fresh ways to view your favorite Disney characters, PS2 games are the way to go. The success of Kingdom Hearts II in capturing the hearts of gamers worldwide truly attest that nothing beats the allure of Donald Duck even in the midst of PS2 mania.

A merging project of Disney interactive and Square Enix, the game consists of various difficulty levels to cater to the needs of gamers of all ages. The presentation of the entire game interface was excellent and it can motivate all kinds of gamers to keep playing it. Sophisticated in nature, Kingdom Hearts II is really very attractive not just in the actual game process but also visually, right from the very beginning. Even the combat sequences exude elegance in it. Unlike some PS2 games that include a lot of gore and violent sequences, the Kingdom Hearts II game is visually friendly and you will have no fear having little children sit beside you as you play it. Although it will require a bit of hard pressing of buttons to keep your play intact, it is tastefully presented and creatively packaged.

While there are few complaints with regards to the gameís play, it is fairly easy and friendly for most gamers, whether seasoned or beginner. The control panel that holds all the commands is strategically placed for the playerís ease and comfort while playing for long hours. Sora, the main character, is essentially geared to pursue his friends and seal keys against his enemies all throughout the long and tedious game. The storyline is quite interesting, even for those who are not exactly Disney fanatics.

The thing about this game is that it is part of a continued series, and ample knowledge of the previously released Kingdom Hearts 1 is quite necessary in order to fully appreciate what the game has to offer. A bit of a background is needed, so much like most PS2 games that have various sequels to it. Kingdom Hearts II is a good sequel to Kingdom Hearts I, which made waves on its initial release. A lot of gamers have sworn to playing KH 1 by heart, and awaited the coming of Kingdom Hearts II, which did not disappoint even the most passionate of the KH 1 fans. Two years have passed since the prequel was released worldwide, but it was a well-worth wait for PS2 gaming aficionados.

Well-appropriated sound effects and extras add up to Kingdom Hearts IIís appeal to the people who play it. The fact that the characters merged in this game are already well-established icons in entertainment industry markedly makes playing it more significant and it gave the developers an edge. To think that Disney and Square Enix have combined what was once considered to be impossible to combine characters in this single game gives the gamers more jolting playing options and a new game series to follow.
