Never give up. Never back down. Never lose faith.
Grant Taylor is the head coach of the Shiloh Eagles football team at a Christian high school. He has not lead the team to a championship in six years. His entire life seems to be a failure and finally he crashes. Devastated by his circumstances, he cries out to God in desperation. When Grant receives a message from an unexpected visitor, he searches for a stronger purpose for his football team, for his life and his family life.
All of the cast are Christian and church members. It seems they were highly trained just for the movie. The viewer gets into the movie as if the viewer was living the struggles and successes of the actors.
From the beginning to the end, the movie and its characters capture the viewer's attention. The situations that the movie present are daily struggles that anybody can be facing.
All the sounds and the music greatly help to set the mood to the audience. The main song "The Voice of Truth" by Casting Crowns adapts to the whole movie well and gives it the final touch.
Twist and Flow of Story
The flow of the story was perfectly followed throughout. The viewer is able to follow what goes next. Everything that happens flows with the story without loosing the string.
The story has a drastic twist from half-way thru and until the end, showing how the life of a person changes from being the greatest looser to being the greatest winner with the help of God; and how that one life changed can help the life of others and make them winners as well.
I highly recommend this movie to all the family. It is a very powerful, touching and very familiar movie. It relates with the everyday struggles that we face when facing out own everyday giants.
