Pros:
original, well-scored, pleasantly innocent
Cons:
a bit episodic
The best sort of children's series is one that can be enjoyed as a family. Princess TuTu fits the bill. It features nothing objectionable, showcases loveable characters in simple (but not overly simplistic) storylines. There is a compelling linear plotline to follow but each episode can stand alone for single-viewings. The music and settings are also quite enchanting. What a wonderful way to introduce children to classical music and love of dance.
