Chapter 1
“Yuo, wake up! You’re going to be late for class!”

“I’m up, Beth…” I implied with my head yet to leave my pillow. I heard Beth’s foot steps come closer to my bed. With a strength that seemed to be from a thousand men, she flung the covers across the room; with me in them. “Ouch!” I yelped. “What the hell? Couldn’t arouse me with a different method?!” I got up, dressed myself, and went out the door. I walk in a fashion of an old hobo, tired, sleepy, and sore. I waddle into the classroom, interrupting Mrs. Hardins speech. “I’m glad that you came to join us, Yuone.” She said in mordant tone. I slap on a false smile and sit down. I reached into my bag and got out my book. Dark Lover, a book with a wonderful plot, exquisite vocabulary, and awesome vampires! As I indulged myself in my reading, I heard Mrs. Hardins ask, “Yuone, why don’t you answer this question.” I slowly lay the book on my desk, and walk up to the board. I realized the math equation on the board was something I didn’t know. “Um, what is this?” I inquired. “Something you should know. We learned it yesterday.” Crap, now I remember. I was too busy reading my book to pay attention. “Well, if you can’t answer this problem, please sit down, stop humiliating yourself.” I dragged my feet across the floor and sat in my desk. “I would like to see after class.” Mrs. Hardins said. I heard the class snickering. Ha, like they should be laughing. Even though I wasn’t paying attention yesterday, doesn’t mean that I’m not passing this class. In fact, everyone is failing except Beth and me.

Let's see. Hm, I saw a squirrel the other day! It was funny! It fell from the tree and ran back up. And fell, again. It was a repetitive action. Anywho.....um that's it, I guess. ^_^
